Be a modern mom.
You know what I’m proud of. Being a modern mom. Moms these days are absolutely killing it. We’re working or we’re staying home or we’re doing both. We’re breastfeeding or formula feeding but we’re doing what works for us and we’re telling each other “hey, you’re doing amazing. Do what works for you.” We’ve been talking more about the struggles in motherhood and making it easier to make the hard decisions.
I just think we want to be every moms biggest advocate. 🙌🏻 Every time I see a mom with her kids or baby when I’m out I always make sure to give her a “you’re doing great” smile. Because I know she is, we all are. I know you’re tired, I know you were probably up multiple times last night. But here you are at a effing indoor playground with screaming children but you’re doing it to see your babies smile. I see you at the mall this time of the year trying to get your shopping done with a screaming baby or a tantrum throwing toddler. You’re frazzled but you got it. We always have it - even though in our heads we’re screaming- no one knows that because we GOT IT. .
Us moms have to make sure everyone & everything is covered. Because we’re the moms. We make sure the holidays are perfect for our families. We decorate the house for Christmas, We hide that damn elf, we get all the presents our kids asked for, we make the freaking stupid sugar cookies, we wrap all the presents, we just make sure it’s perfect and magical. Because we’re the moms. .
We make our houses a home. We are the caretakers, the boo boo kissers, the soft place to land. We’re doing it all these days and then also following our dreams. Going to school, working towards a goal, killing it at the gym. Sometimes we even do our hair and dress in something other then leggings. BECAUSE WERE KILLING IT! 🙌🏻 All I have to say to you bad ass mamas out there is you go girl. 💃🏼👌🏼
