You guys. Seriously blow me away with your support and encouragement. The stories I shared today was me totally being honest, I struggle with the whole cleaning all day and wanting more help.
It’s pretty clear by the overwhelming response that WE’RE all in the same boat and nothing but acceptance that littles will be little and we’re all circling and living out our days with children at our feet. It’s not easy to stop, because we all want that ‘perfect’.
But I needed this reminder that it’s short lived and also, that it’s okay to stop and hold and play and let the house become lived in. And it’s okay to see value in leaving your home messy to visit a friend.
So much yes to my DM’s that rolled through today. Thank you all for showing up and being real. Sharing your story and how you get by. It’s not easy, I know! But tomorrow can be better than today.
A lot of suggestions were to pick up the entire house before bed. I asked how if you are tired 😅 and most of you said to push through. So tonight I pushed through wanting to lay down, I picked up dinner, the living room, all bedrooms and finally changed a stinky diaper. And I thought about y’all.
Like a little team chanting to “push through!” Thank you! ❤️
