Did You Know Kids Need Self-Regulation Like Adults?
👶🏻 As their little brains develop, as mamas being in the "thick of it" with toddlers to teenagers, we sometimes forget that what they see us do, will impact the way they do things.
This means, HOW we help them regulate their emotions, effects how they will SELF-REGULATE.
👆🏻I have listed some examples of how we can help our littles (all the way to teenagers), walk through their needs in states of emotions and transitions.
As parents, it sometimes is just slowing down (not rushing out the door, waiting patiently for their little hands & feet to move, listening to their sentences while their brains process and having a bit more compassion)... 💜
When we are in the thick of it, it is VERY hard to do this, but it is not impossible.
➡️ Like I mentioned above, it STARTS WITH US AS MAMAS, recognizing how we regulate our own emotions, SO THAT we can be leaders in our homes to our children.
Are you ready to FINALLY stop patterns from generations of incorrect behaviors and learn how YOU can process your emotions to better show up for your own babies?
Yes? Okay, awesome! DM "I'M READY BROOKE!" and I'll personally send you my link so we can chat about this!
